Introducing industry insider - Louise Bolongaro

We're delighted that Louise Bolongaro is making time in her sparkling new post at Nosy Crow Books to come to Edinburgh to talk about writing stories for picture books at the Writing for Children Under 12 day in Edinburgh.

Louise has fifteen years' experience in children's publishing. She cut her teeth on novelty books but has focussed on picture books, her one true love, for the last 12 years. She started out at Macmillan Children's Books, before becoming Editorial Director at Puffin and joined Nosy Crow as Head of Picture Books in late 2012. She has worked with top authors and illustrators including Julia Donaldson, Axel Scheffler, Helen Oxenbury, Allan Ahlberg, Raymond Briggs and Giles Andreae.
